"The Dangerous Summer" Mr. Rain's Fun House - Baltimore, MD



Drink Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Bodegas Maurodos Tempranillo.
  • .75 oz. Bitter Truth Sloe Gin.
  • .5 oz. of Mezcal.
  • .75 oz. of Tamarind Simple Syrup.
  • .25 oz. of Fresh Lemon Juice.
Drink Preparation:
  • Add the above ingredients to shaker.
  • Add ice to shaker and shake.
  • Strain into highball/long drink glass.
  • Garnish with Brandied Cherries and Lemon Thyme.
  • The Lemon Thyme you slap to release the aroma.
  • Enjoy!

The name of this cocktail as Megan mentioned comes from the title of a book written by Ernest Hemingway. This cocktail is a cobbler style cocktail- red wine based, smoke balanced with some sour. This is a very delicious cocktail. When you take your first sip, take the time to enjoy it and you taste the flavors burst in your mouth.

  2. Well Liam S., Megan may be really beautiful, but she seems to be a fantastic mixologists. Next time I am in Baltimore I am going to have her make me a few drinks. I love LetsDrinkOn...... This site rocks!!!!!
