Hot Toddy




Due to todays weather, I felt that it was necessary to have this drink to warm our bodies. Keep this drink handy throughout the winter. So enjoy this drink as you warm up, after todays miserable weather.


Drink Ingredients:
  • 4 to 5 whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1/2 a cup of boiling water
  • 1 1/2 oz of brandy preferably Clear Creek
  • Lemon wedge
Drink Preparations:
  • Combine cloves, cinnamon stick, star anise and honey in a heat-proof snifter.
  • Top with boiling water and stir to melt honey.
  • Top with brandy.
  • Squeeze the lemon wedge and drop into the snifter.

Brazil 66



Drink Recipe:
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 3/4 oz of Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz of Cachaca (for those of you, who have never had Cachaca, Leblon is a good brand)
  • 1/2 oz of Cointreau
  • 1/2 oz of fresh orange juice
  • Orange twist for garnish
Drink Preparations:
  • In a Pilsner or Collins glass muddle the lime with the syrup
  • Fill the glass with ice, and add the remaining liquid ingredients.
  • Transfer to the mixing glass of a cocktail shaker, cover and tap gently to ensure seal and shake well.
  • Pour drink back into original glass and garnish with orange twist.
This makes one drink!

The BlackOut




Well it is that time of the year again. The holidays are upon us. We have Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas are right on top of us. So it is time for drinks for those parties you will be putting on for your friends and family. Some of them to entertain and some of them to forget the annoying family members. Come on you know who they are.

Drink Ingredients:
  • Spiced Sugar for rimming the glass
  • 1/2 oz of 151 Proof Rum
  • 3 oz of hot Leaves de Provence tea or another floral tea
  • 3/4 oz Amaretto
  • 3/4 oz Grand Marnier
  • 1/2 White Creme de Cacao
  • Lightly whipped and sweetened heavy cream
Drink Preparations:
  • Coat the rim of a thick wineglass with the sugar
  • Add the rum, using a lighter ignite the rum
  • Twirl the glass to caramelize the sugar, making sure to keep the glass upright
  • When the sugar is caramelized put the fire out by pouring tea into the glass
  • Add the Amaretto and Creme de Cacao
  • Top with whipped cream

Drink Recipe:
  • 1oz of Dark Rum
  • 2 oz of Irish Cream
  • 1/2 oz of Coffee Liqueur
Drink Preparations:
  • Pour all the alcohol ingredients into a shaker with ice
  • Pour in glass over ice
