Equal parts water to honey. You could do 2 to 1 honey water. But equal parts make it easier to pour.
I.E. 1 cup of hot water (almost boiling) water to 1 cup of honey. Preferably clover honey, since it adds a nice taste.
Drink Preparation:
Add the honey then the water then stir until it combines well.
Megan Deschaine of Mr. Rain’s Fun House is the lovely bartender in our video. Megan has been in many of our videos. She is a great bartender and very entertaining. You will never get a bad cocktail nor be bored.
Add the ingredients in the order listed above to a shaker.
Add ice to the shaker and shake.
Using a strainer pour into a Martini glass.
Garnish with either a fresh or candied Blood Orange slice.

This Signature Cocktail from Anastasia created by Tracey Wise is crafted by Sasha Klevytska, is light cocktail that is perfect to get your evening started. The Blood Orange Juice mixed with vodka and triple sec gives it a light citrusy flavor.
Sasha started bartending during graduate school and now has a PhD. in Neuropathology. She enjoys making drinks as a form of beverage alchemy.
Add the Prairie Vodka, Pear Syrup and Cinnamon Syrup to a shaker.
Add ice to shaker, stir using a bar spoon.
Using a strainer pour into chilled Martini glass.
Then add the Grenadine to the cocktail, if you choose use homemade.
Then add the Pomegranate Seeds.

Side Note: To make homemade Grenadine. This is basically like making a simple syrup. Ingredients:
.25 cup of Sugar.
1 cup of 100% of unsweetened Pomegranate Juice.
.5 of lemon if you want.
Preparation:
Combine sugar and juice in saucepan over medium heat.
Bring the mixture to a boil for about 5 minute or until slightly thickened.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Taste it and if you want add the lemon juice to your liking.
Now you have Grenadine Syrup.
This cocktail is created by Ian Clark of Fork and Wrench in Baltimore, MD. Ian has had several cocktails on our site. So you should check those out. Ian is very creative behind the bar, very knowledgeable about of alcohol and his love of photography is demonstrated in how visually appealing his cocktails are.
Combine Gin, Sherry and Lemon Juice into a shaker.
Shake and pour over crushed ice into a Collins glass.
Add Millstone "Harvest" Cider.
Garnish with Lemon Thyme and fresh fruit.

Side Note: How to make the Pear and Anise Syrup: Ingredients:
1 cup of Sugar.
1 cup of Water.
1 cup of chopped Pear.
2 oz. of Sambuca. Sambuca has the Anise.
Preparation:
Place the Sambuca and chopped Pear in a saucepan on medium heat until they caramelize (2-5 minutes).
Then mix with sugar and water on medium-high heat for 5-10 minutes.
Run through sieve, wait until it cools and you are all set.
This cocktail is a Mr. Rain's Fun House Signature Cocktail, with Megan Deschaine in the video. This cocktail has a balance between the subtle flavors of honey present in the Bar Hill Gin, with the dry crisp sherry. The pear and anise syrup sweetens the cocktail, nice flavors for winter, with reminders of warmer weather.
